Corporate Social Responsibility 2024

In May 2024, M Oriental Bank demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by supporting Divine Mercy Children’s Home.

The bank donated essential items, including food supplies, stationery, mattresses, and toys, to help improve the well-being of the children. In addition, staff members spent the day engaging with the children, fostering a spirit of care and community.

This initiative reflects M Oriental Bank’s dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable members of society.

INTERBANK SPORTS


It was all fun and games in a friendly competitive atmosphere during the KIB Interbank Sports held at the premier Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi. Our staff participated in various sports disciplines, from board games to track and field events.

We had staff participation in the following sports disciplines: Scrabble, Chess, Draught, Snooker, Badminton, Swimming & Athletics.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

International Women’s Day (IWD) acknowledges the social, economic, cultural, and political achievement of women while advocating and pushing for gender parity.

At M Oriental Bank we appreciate the role taken up by women in being the driving force of the world.

With 56.1% of our staff being women, we are proud to have created an environment where women are able to confidently contribute to the institution and pursue their career ambition. We continue to raise awareness within the institution as well as engage stakeholders across the industry on gender issues.

Over the years, we have consistently supported charitable organisations that aim at empowering women by creating a more equitable society through our CSR programs. As we celebrate, the IWD, we purpose to continue aligning our business in support of women entrepreneurs and address challenges faced in financing.

CS WEEK 2018

CS WEEK 2018 was a great success with well-coordinated activities throughout the week to engage both our staff and clients. From themed outfits to job swaps, the branch went all out to make the week memorable. Sustaining customer experience excellence has been their aim and they did it well.
